On 8th March 2012, Women International day, an assembly took place in Kabul University by Afghan women where hundreds of women were found chanting,”we want peace”.
According to participant’s creed, democracy never dominates in a country but only when half of the society citizens (women) live freely without any gender discrimination and are involved in country ‘s political and social affairs.

The girl who was cheated and raped by a married man finally got released after spending three months in captivity.
Her case had been undertaken by AWEC’s attorney during August, 2010 and with the non exhuasting efforts of AWEC’s lawyers and the Attorney, the case was closed and the girl was released from the jail.
The girl who looked disappointed told the media,” I had been surrendered by caprices”.
