WHO DOES AWEC HELP?
Please see our Projects page which has recently been updated.
In 2004, AWEC's activities benefitted over 15,000 females (women and girls) and 8,000 males (boys and men). Indirect beneficiaries include families of the direct beneficiaries, and communities where services are located.
These are the results of some of AWEC's activities:

Information on peace education, effects of trauma and conflict resolution to communities
Provision of counseling and psychological services
Provision of literacy programs to women
Vocational training and wool-spinning facility for income generation for women

HOW CAN I HELP?
Any donation, big or small, is a huge help to us. Whether your donation buys a meal for one or meals for a month, you will be making a difference in somebody's life. Your donations will help to feed and educate the women and children, and provide much-needed medical assistance to those who are rebuilding their lives.
