Project Goal: To provide education opportunities for refugees living in Islamabad, Pakistan
Project Objectives: To support and enhance the education level of Afghan refugees children in Islamabad, Pakistan
Major Activities: The Shahid Wali Khan School for refugee children in the Islamabad- Rawalpindi area in Pakistan is more than 12 years old. The school has expanded from providing only primary Education to providing Secondry Education and in 2007,has registeredmore than 600 students. The school curricula are approved in Afghanistan which means that when the student return to Afghanistan, their educational level is recognized and they can be easily assimilated into Afghan schools. Male and female students from class 7th to 12th grade are taught in separate classes.
