Providing an integrated service to vulnerable
women and children such as skills development, literacy,
health education on general health and specific issues
such as drug awareness, counselling on issues i
ncluding
domestic violence and sexual abuse, informal education
for children in order to reintegrate them into schools,
health education, vocational training
for adolescent boys and girls. This project is based on
the original Center for Street Children and Women that
AWEC operated in Peshawar from 1998-2004) |

Set up and operate 2 resource centres in
Kabul. the centres will conduct street based outreach work
to protect the rights of the working children engaged in
exploitative and hazardous activities through the provision
of development opportunities for child workers and their
families. The centres will provide opportunities for working
children and through them their families, giving them access
to education, vocational skills training, life skills training,
psycho social support, small scale start up business funds
and to have opportunities to develop as productive and
respected citizens.
